Dita Von Teese debuts “Cointreau Teese”

Burlesque sensation Dita Von Teese debuted the "BE COINTREAUVERSIAL" show at first LOS ANGELES public performance in two years.

Dita Von Teese performed the "Be Cointreauversial" show to a sold out audience at the Avalon Hollywood on Wednesday, July 22nd. This was her first performance in Los Angeles in over two years, and the L.A. debut of both the "Be Cointreauversial" show, and Dita Von Teese's latest collaboration with Cointreau, the Cointreau Teese cocktail.

Dita Von Teese designed the cocktail through interviews and tastings with Cointreau’s mixologists in Paris, in order to guide the creation of a drink that reflects her true tastes perfectly. “I think it's a really beautiful, feminine cocktail. I’m fanatical about the Cointreau Teese. It’s just such a glamorous drink - and even better, it’s available in all the places I love to go out. It’s more than a cocktail - it’s a part of me.” said Dita Von Teese. Los Angeles is one of a few exclusive cities around the world to feature the "Cointreau Teese."

In honor of the new cocktail, Dita performed the finale of her “Be Cointreauversial” show whimsically plunging into a violet hued bath within a life size martini glass which was embellished with Swarovski crystals. It was a performance that the crowd was ecstatic to drink in as Dita received standing ovations.

Burlesque dancing has reached new heights, and Dita Von Teese is at the forefront of revolutionizing this type of performance. Special guests, including friends and celebrities, joined her in this sensational evening at the Avalon.
