"Cointreaupolitan Star", the gold version of the Cointreaupolitan dedicated to the Cannes Film festival's 60th anniversary.

For many years the Remy-Cointreau group has been the official supplier of the Cannes Film Festival, one of the two biggest events of the movie industry worldwide. The Cannes Film festival is the annual "rendez-vous" of glamour and glitter on the French Riviera, and no star wants to miss it!

This year, to celebrate the sixtieth anniversary of the festival, Cointreau has launched the star version of its flagship cocktail, the Cointreaupolitan. An exclusive yet sophisticated mixture, sprinkled for the occasion with genuine 24-carat gold glitter - a first in cocktail history.

The Cointreaupolitan star was served on the Croisette in Cannes of course, as well as in many of the brand's exclusive bars.

To enjoy it on your own, shake 5 cl Cointreau with ice, 3 cl cranberry juice, 2 cl lemon juice and a pinch of gold glitter. Serve in a Martini glass and add a sprinkle of glitter as a finishing touch...
