You’ll be pleasantly surprised with how much a wedge of grilled pineapple or watermelon can spruce up a cocktail.
- Prepare the grill – scrape and oil the grates with an oil that won’t interfere with your drink recipe.
- Heat your grill to at least 400-450°
- Stick with fruits that are perfectly firm. Larger fruits tend to work better so they don’t fall through the grates.
- Grill for at least 3 minutes—the grates need time to leave those perfect grill marks.
- Check on your fruit every 2 minutes or so.
- When you’ve reached desired caramelization, flip and grill the opposite side.
- Remove from heat, add to your favorite drink, and enjoy.
