Throwing a party? Whether you’re mixing for a group of 4 or 10, batching your cocktails is the way to go.
- Start by pouring the ingredients with the largest volumes (juices, spirits bases, etc.) into a pitcher. Work your way downward from there.
- Aromatics like bitters, spices, and flavored simple syrups can be tricky to scale. Start with about half of what you think you’ll need and then work your way up. Remember: you can always add more, if needed.
- Before serving, add your sparklings. Soda water and Champagne can be poured directly into the glass after you’ve served the base, that way your drinks are still perfectly fizzy.
