The first "Be Cointreauversial" show: Dita Von Teese, Cointreau-inspired performance took london by storm on 13th december
The Dita Von Teese show in London
The evening was held in an old renovated church in the Marylebone district which was completely decorated Cointreau's colours. The show was dreamt up by Dita Von Teese as an evocation of the Cointreau World- a world that Dita Von Teese has, herself, discovered and which has completely won her over. Cointreau and its unique "French touch" have thrived for more than 160 years without changing a single thing from the shape of its legendary bottle to its delicate and instantly recognisable flavours.
It was only natural that this mythic iconic bottle should join the Dita Von Teese World and her carefully crafted character- a blend of retro and modernity- that little je ne sais quoi, a freedom of thought that extends far beyond any diktats one might apply.
Dita wanted this show to be completely feminine, sensual and as delicious as the first sip of a wonderfully fruity cocktail.
She appears, a silhouette wrapped in an amber dress in homage to the Colours of Cointreau slipping into the silhouette of the bottle and finally plunging into the famous martini glass. In the magnificently magical minutes that followed, Dita Von Teese sparkled and enraptured in a dizzy cocktail of grace and pure femininity. These rare and timeless moments ended in a shower of violet petals.
Many VIPs and "celebrities" had the privilege to discover, as a worldwide premiere Cointreau Teese, a Cointreau cocktail with a violet aroma, created by Dita Von Teese. The evening ended with everyone dancing to the fantastic music of the two famous french DJ'ettes: the Putafranges.
