Preparing the Margarita with the blender started in the 1960's, and in 1971, Mariano Martinez invented the Frozen margarita machine in Dallas. Made with Cointreau L'Unique, Blanco Tequila, Fresh Lime Juice, it is blended until silky smooth and served in a coupette with lime wedge for the finishing touch. A intermediate-level medium cocktail, it is perfect for tea time and best enjoyed summer. Discover the full range of margaritas recipes and find your perfect Cointreau cocktail.
