Ingredients for 80s Beets
- 0.75 oz Cointreau orange liqueur
- 2 oz vodka
- 0.25 red beet
- 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
- 0.25 oz cranberry juice
How to Make the 80s Beets Cocktail
Step 1Peel, stem, and cut the red beet into smaller pieces. Add beet pieces to Cointreau and let sit for 15 minutes. Strain and set aside.
As an alternative, use beet juice and omit the cranberry juice.
Step 2Add beet-infused Cointreau, vodka, fresh lime juice, and cranberry juice into shaker.
Step 3Add ice and shake until chilled. Fine strain into coupe or martini glass.
Step 4Garnish with an orange peel.
