How to make a Citrus Salt
The salt actually plays a key role in the drink’s oh-so-balanced flavor profile. It’s also one of our favorite ways to put a spin on the classic — switching up the salt! Today, we’re showing you how to make a citrus version (no need to throw away those peels). Your drink will look pro and your kitchen will smell divine ??
Pour 1/2 cup of salt into a shallow dish.
Zest 1 orange on top of the salt.
Zest 1 lemon on top of the salt and mix gently.
Hold your glass by the stem and slide a lime wedge around the rim. Dip the rim of the glass into the salt, turn your glass upright, and add your Margarita.
