This cocktail was created in the mid 1920's in Nice in France, by Adolphe Torelli at the Winter-Palace Hotel.

  • Sweet


For 1 cocktail

  • 45.00 ml Cointreau
  • 45.00 ml sweet vermouth
  • 4 dashes Angostura bitters

How to make Cointreau Cocktail

  • Step 1

    Combine all ingredients in a chilled mixing glass

  • Step 2

    Add ice and stir until well-chilled

  • Step 3

    Strain into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass

  • Step 4

    Garnish with a lemon twist
