Cointreau run a competition to find a twist on the Margarita to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the iconic cocktail.
Discover the recipe created by mixologist Michele Venturini from Cahoots in London. A cutting-edge recipe using basil, wine and herbs, Michele has performed during the Festival de Cannes at the Nikki Beach.
"I'll Never Smile Again" by Michele Venturini
- 2,5 cl Cointreau
- 3,5 cl Tequila
- Fresh basil crushed with a mortar
- 2,5 cl Lime and lemon juice
- Herbal wine cordial
Combine all the ingredients in a shaker and mix through throwing and strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with Parmesan crosta and Cointreau blood orange marmalade.

- 2 cl Salty plum juice
- plum powder with salt
