The 6th Cointreau Margarita Challenge edition is currently underway and already exceeding all expectations! Our expert jury has chosen 13 finalists who will now compete in Angers, France, for the title of global champion.
The 13 finalists will travel to Angers, France to compete and live the Cointreau experience. The spotlights are on, the mood has never been so joyful and intense, and we are now eagerly awaiting the announcement of the grand winner, who will be unveiled this November!

This year, the competition returns bigger, bolder, and more global than ever, inviting bartenders worldwide to push boundaries and Shake up their Margaritas, echoing the new brand’s tagline 'Shake It Up'.
Once registered via a dedicated webpage, each participant will shake the online shaker to reveal one of ten secret ingredients they must include in their creation. This surprise element pushes competitors beyond their comfort zones, encouraging versatility and inventive flavor exploration while transforming constraint into inspiration.

The 2026 Cointreau Margarita Challenge Grand Prize Winner will be chosen from 13 semi-finalist bartenders who will fly to France for a gripping three-day finale. During this exclusive event, participants’ creativity and skills will be tested with three carefully crafted challenges.
The winner will not only leave their mark on the Original Margarita’s legacy, but will also win a five thousand euros voucher to do guest shift anywhere in the world, along with a trip for 2 to France!
