Ingredients for the Royal Affair

  • 1.5 oz Cointreau orange liqueur
  • 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 2 slices cucumber
  • 1 sprig mint
  • 2 coins ginger
  • 0.25 oz simple syrup (1:1)
  • 1 dash aromatic bitters
  • 3 oz dry sparkling wine

How to Make the Royal Affair

  • Step 1

    Muddle cucumber, ginger, mint and simple syrup in shaker tin.

  • Step 2

    Add Cointreau, lemon juice, bitters and ice.

  • Step 3

    Shake and strain into a chilled flute. Top with sparkling wine. Garnish with cucumber wheel, crystalized ginger, and mint on a pick.
