Ingredients for The Prickly Pear Margarita
- 1 oz Cointreau
- 2 oz tequila
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz prickly pear syrup
- 0.5 oz fresh grapefruit juice
How to Make The Prickly Pear Margarita
Step 1Add all ingredients to shaker with ice and shake.
Step 2Fine strain over ice into glass salted with black Himalayan sea salt. Garnish with lime wheel.
To make prickly pear syrup:
Cover the fruit with water and bring to a boil. Cover and steep for 30 minutes. Mash, blend, and strain. Heat equal parts sugar, water, and prickly pear juice to make syrup.
