Frozen Margarita
The blender-based preparation of the Margarita began in the 1960s, and in 1971, Mariano Martinez invented the first frosted Margarita machine. Made with Cointreau L'Unique, tequila, lime juice, and crushed ice, it's blended and served in a Margarita glass with a salted rim. A beginner- to intermediate-level cocktail, perfect as a summer aperitif. Discover the full range of Cointreau Frosted Margarita recipes.
