The Original Margarita was created back in 1948 when Dallas socialite Margarita Sames mixed her two favorite spirits, Cointreau & tequila, together with lime juice. Made with Cointreau L'Unique, Blanco Tequila, Fresh Lime Juice, Simple Syrup, it is blended until silky smooth and served in a margarita glass with lime wheel for the finishing touch. A intermediate-level strong cocktail, it is perfect for tea time and best enjoyed summer. Discover the full range of margaritas recipes and find your perfect Cointreau cocktail.
