With a crown of fine sugar, the Crusta was once thought to be the perfection of the Cocktail. What remains today we know as a Sidecar, but this deliciously anachronistic recipe takes its cues from yesteryear.
Ingredients for Cointreau Crusta:
- 1.5 oz Cointreau
- 1 oz Rémy Martin VSOP cognac
- 0.5 1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 0.25 oz Maraschino Liqueur
How to mix Cointreau Crusta ?
Step 1Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice.
Step 2Shake vigorously with ice and strain into a small cocktail glass with sugared rim.
Step 3Garnish with an orange peel.
