With a crown of fine sugar, the Crusta was once thought to be the perfection of the Cocktail. What remains today we know as a Sidecar, but this deliciously anachronistic recipe takes its cues from yesteryear.

Ingredients for Cointreau Crusta:

  • 1.5 oz Cointreau
  • 1 oz Rémy Martin VSOP cognac
  • 0.5 1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 0.25 oz Maraschino Liqueur

How to mix Cointreau Crusta ?

  • Step 1

    Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice.
  • Step 2

    Shake vigorously with ice and strain into a small cocktail glass with sugared rim.
  • Step 3

    Garnish with an orange peel.
