A very interesting cocktail published in 1947 by Trader Vic, in his Bartender’s Guide. An aperitif cocktail with a hint of citrus.

  • Dry
  • Bitter


For 1 cocktail

  • 5.00 ml Cointreau
  • 45.00 ml The Botanist gin
  • 15.00 ml dry vermouth
  • 5.00 ml kirsch
  • 5.00 ml fresh lemon juice

how to make a Cat's Eye cocktail

  • Step 1

    Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker

  • Step 2

    Add ice and shake until well-chilled

  • Step 3

    Strain into a chilled wine glass

  • Step 4

    Garnish with an orange twist
